Sweeter Than Candy-'05 Fresian Cross Warmblood Black Mare. Lovely temperment. Sweet. Loves people. Easy to catch. Rides quiet. Ridden Walk, Trot, Canter. English or Western. Very nice mover. Already 15.2, should make over 16 hds. Beautiful long mane and tail. Nice hip and shoulder angle for dressage. Commented on by a USET team rider that she was a tremendous mover. Great Dressage or Hunter Prospect. Sound. No vices.

Julia's Comments: Sweeter Than Candy: What an apt name! Candy is the quietest three-year-old I've ever had the priviledge to meet and ride; she acts more like a twenty three-year-old. At her first show she was on her best behavior and never offered to scream, spook, balk, shy, etc. She even walked over "scary" decorated crossrails with vitually no hesitation. Candy has attractive conformation that befits her noteworthy movement. Lovely smooth, flat-kneed gaits. Her unique looks and obvious talent will definitely stick out to a judge -- Candy will never be overlooked in a crowd! Everybody who sees her stops to comment on what a beautiful horse she is. Although she is still a little bit green, Candy is quiet, kind, and forgiving enough to be a beginner's mount but would perform to her fullest potential with an experienced rider and regular schooling. Could easily do a respectable Intro or Training level dressage test at her current level of training or could be developed into an upper-level dressage mount, cute hunter, or event horse. Good ground manners (leads, loads, ties, easy to catch, good about her feet, etc.) This stunning filly will be a champion with the right rider! Candy goes very well in a smooth copper snaffle, she has a extremely soft mouth with visible salivation, easily gives her jaw with advanced poll control, and accepts and stretches into bit contact in addition to accepting the other aids.
