Hey Angela, just wanted to let you know how fantastic Cowboy is doing. I’ve shown him twice this year in judged shows and he took 2 firsts, 3 seconds, 2 thirds and 1 reserve grand champion in western pleasure classes. I’m hoping to get him in a trail course soon but I have to learn about it more. I’m sure he can do it with his eyes closed. I’ve gotten him to do a very slow walk and trot but am still working on the lope. Any ideas for me? His color is like Brown Sugar Bar with very white mane and tail. He is sooooo gorgeous and well behaved. I understand why he is one of your all time favorites. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to ride for a week as I fell off when he shyed at a tractor/bailer last Wed on a trail ride. I think by this weekend I’ll be able to sit again HA! I have some pictures coming from the last show on May 13 and will send one to you. The judge says he would be an excellent jumper or Hunt seat (whatever that is) but I’m sticking with Western. Next show is in September. Can I talk you and your friends into coming up for it? We have 5 bedrooms so you could stay here Friday night and we can drink marguaritas and head to the show in the morning. It’s only about 6 miles from my house at Sundance Stables.
Hope all is well with you. Love your new website. It just keeps getting better and better. If you ever need a testimonial letter please let me know as you are the all time expert at handpicking the horse that will best suit the rider, even riders with histories like me. MAGIC!
